YumNest is a small operation. We’d rather run two products we can defend line by line than a shelf full we can’t. Below is the standard every formula has to clear before it ships — if it can’t, it doesn’t.
The form matters more than the number
Magnesium oxide looks impressive on a label — big milligram figure, low cost. It also absorbs poorly. We choose the form of a mineral before we argue about how much of it goes in. Chelated and complexed forms cost more to manufacture — which is exactly why most of the category skips them.
Doses you can check
Every active and its amount is printed on the label, and we repeat those numbers on the product page so you can compare them against anything else you’re considering. 200 mg elemental magnesium. 5000 mg creatine monohydrate. If a number is on our site, it came off the physical panel.
No proprietary blends
A “proprietary blend” lets a label list impressive ingredients without saying how much of each is in there — which usually means most are present in trace amounts. We don’t use them. If a brand won’t give you the breakdown, that’s the answer.
We write our own copy
Our manufacturer supplies marketing images and claim sheets with every production run. We don’t pass them through unread. Anything quantified — a percentage, a “clinically proven” — gets cut unless there’s a source behind it, and we describe sweeteners by what they actually are rather than by what sounds best. Sometimes that makes our pages less exciting than the competition’s. That’s the trade.
